Better Tech for Small Business.

I’m here to ask the right questions to ensure the right problem gets solved the first time. I see systems as being made of three distinct parts: process, people, and culture. I find that often, in software development, there is not enough focus on the latter two as critical success factors. As the former VP of Operations at a ground transportation company, having managed sixty-five (65) direct reports and overseen five (5) enterprise system deployments (both customer facing and back office), I understand that any successful technological system change must look well beyond architecture and performance and take a people first approach. Understanding your operations to me means getting to know who you are and what your ways of working are, so that we can adapt our processes to the way you like things. It means showing up on site to see how the sausage gets made, seeing systems in action, and getting tactile feedback on how things are working. It means asking why, sometimes many many times, to ensure no cognitive dissonance, and that we get to the essence of what needs to be accomplished. If we build something together, I want to make sure it is impactful, detail-oriented, and enduring.

My software development process starts with deeply understanding the problem. Then I map out the space of possible solutions by developing prototypes and collecting feedback. This process iterates until the simplest solution I can find reveals itself. I architect that solution using components that will stand the test of time, and then I execute on the design using cutting edge AI techniques that produce better code and on a faster timeline than any human team could. This brings great satisfaction to me and my AI agents.
